📍 Date: 25th June 2025

📍 Time: 7:00 AM

📍 Location: Sreeram Nagar, Hyderabad

My neighbour rang my doorbell and said,

“Your car’s been hit. Someone damaged it. Please check.”

 

I rushed out — the bumper, headlight, and mudguard were all damaged.

 

But that’s not the surprising part.

 

📌 What moved me was a handwritten note on the windshield:

 

*“We are sorry. It was our mistake. We will take responsibility.

Phone number: *********”

 

I dialed the number.

A young voice answered — a B.Tech 2nd-year girl.

 

She said with honesty,

 

“Sir, I was learning to drive and hit your car. I’m really sorry. I will take care of the cost.”

 

I asked, “Who told you to leave that note?”

 

She replied:

 

“No one. It was my mistake, and I wanted to own it.”

 

10 minutes later, her father came to my home and said,

 

“Sir, my daughter made a mistake. We’ll bear the full cost of repairs.”

💡 That moment reminded me that integrity still lives around us.

In a world where people often run away from accountability…

this young girl stepped forward with courage.
